Stephanie Pope
RID, IIDA, LEED AP BD+C
Senior Vice President, Interior Design
Stephanie has been with Davis Architects since 2004 and loves being a part of solutions that enhance the way people live, work, learn, and experience the world. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Sciences and a minor in Art History from The University of Alabama and is certified through IIDA, RID, and LEED AP BD+C.
Stephanie did not always plan to be an interior designer, but she was encouraged by her family and advisors to pursue interior design because she enjoyed rearranging spaces and solving problems. As Senior Vice President of Interior Design, Stephanie’s passion for problem-solving drives her ability to address the unique needs of every job while balancing spatial limitations, adjacencies, user input, owner expectations, and overall good design. She truly values client relationships and strives to make each client’s job, and life, easier with each completed project. The sense of teamwork and camaraderie is what makes Davis stand out amongst competing firms, and Stephanie is proud to be part of a team that has impacted her life positively, both professionally and personally.
Stephanie is an active member of the Alabama chapter of the International Interior Design Association for nearly 30 years; she has served in various board roles, including president, president-elect, vice president of forums, and director of fundraising. Stephanie is very active in her church, Calera Baptist, where she participates in Praise Team, leads children's ministries, and has contributed to the design of a new campus as well as ongoing interior improvements within the facility over the past 26 years. Outside of work, Stephanie loves to exercise, read, travel, and organize.
