Saban Center Tops Out in Tuscaloosa | Business Alabama

Construction on the Saban Center, a STEM and arts campus in Tuscaloosa, has set its final steel beam, marking a milestone in the development. The marble-clad complex was designed by Steinberg Hart with Birmingham-based Davis Architects and in close collaboration with Nick and Terry Saban. The general contractor is Stone Building Co. The campus is set to open in 2027.

Alabama’s Oldest Architecture Firm Announces Historic Leadership Transition

In a landmark moment for Alabama’s architectural community, Davis Architects, the state’s oldest continually operating architecture firm, has named its first female president. After 48 years with the firm, Neil Davis, AIA, is transitioning to the role of board chairman and has announced Courtney Pittman, AIA, as his successor.
