Samford Listed as One of the Most Beautiful College Campuses in the US | U.S. News & World Report
Davis Architects’ connection to Samford University spans multiple generations, beginning with early campus planning and continuing through numerous academic, performance, and athletic facilities that define the campus today.
Reflecting on that legacy, Neil Davis shared, “My father was involved in the original campus planning, and over the years we’ve had the opportunity to contribute to many of the buildings that shape the campus today. I’m grateful to see his initial vision come to life, and it’s equally gratifying to have had a hand in its continued development.”
This continuity of design has helped shape Samford’s identity, recently recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the most beautiful college campuses in the nation.
Samford University writes, “Prospective students and their families marvel at the unforgettable first impression Samford’s campus delivers,” said university President Beck A. Taylor. “Our graduates leave with memories of inviting spaces and thoughtfully designed buildings that foster creativity and a sense of belonging. The stewardship of our campus is one of the blessings that supports a 17-year trajectory of record enrollment, matched by all-time highs in student retention.”
Samford was the lone university in Alabama selected to the national list of most beautiful campuses.
