With architects at Steinberg Hart, designer Malcolm Holzman, and Davis Architecture of Alabama, the Sabans have guided the wide sweeping curves of the exterior, melding white Alabama marble with contemporary designs. Renderings show on its northern face the 70-foot glass Galaxy Tower, topped by an illuminated globe, 18 feet in diameter. That central fixture is meant to symbolize global connectivity and endless possibilities.
