Emily Swartzer
Architectural Design Professional
Emily first joined Davis as a summer intern in 2022 and came on full-time after earning her Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Interior Architecture from Auburn University in 2025. She has always been drawn to spaces such as museums, homes, and anything related to design, without fully understanding why until architecture gave that interest a name and direction. The combination of creativity and problem solving is what ultimately drew her in, and renovation projects hold a particular appeal. Every building presents a different set of constraints, and she enjoys the process of working through them to find new possibilities. At Davis, Emily values the depth of experience around her. The fact that so much of the staff has spent the majority of their careers at the firm speaks to the culture, and as someone early in her career, she is grateful for teams willing to share what they have learned. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, photography, reading, and baking, and can usually be found planning her next trip, capturing a new city through her camera, or watching Auburn football.
