Orange Beach Baseball & Softball Complex

City of Orange Beach

The city of Orange Beach, Alabama has a large athletic complex with multiple baseball and softball fields that has hosted many regional and national tournaments, including the SEC Softball tournament. With a new high school under construction for the coastal Alabama city, it was decided to create new stadiums for both the high school baseball and softball teams. These new stadiums will also serve the dual purpose of attracting travel ball and college teams for tournaments. On a fast-track schedule, Davis designed new grandstands for both the baseball and soft- ball fields. The new baseball stadium with seat 500, with 100 chairback seats behind home plate and the new softball stadium will seat 350, with 60 chairback seats. Each stadium with have a 490 sf press box with AV and broadcast facilities. The city has strict design guidelines that were incorporated creatively into the aluminum grandstand structures to create a unique and exciting venue for both sports.
