The 100,000 SF Mal M. Moore Athletic Facility serves as the home of the Crimson Tide football program. Davis Architects recently renovated the football lobby, recruiting lounge, and offices to meet the needs of a new coaching staff. The 5,000 SF recruiting lounge was upgraded with new finishes and colorful graphics that highlight the NFL careers of past players. The space serves recruits and their families during game day meals and festivities. The lobby was also enhanced with exciting branding and graphic displays to welcome guests, while offices were reconfigured for better management of team business. Large graphic pieces showcase the traditions of Alabama football and identify reception areas within the administrative suite.

With the completion of the new Dining Facility, the existing Recruiting Lounge, which previously featured tables and chairs for food service, could be overhauled as a showcase of the University of Alabama football programs. Davis worked with a graphic designer to design a multi-purpose space that featured team history, trophies and awards, meeting opportunities, and Instagram opportunities for recruits. This space is often featured as a backdrop to televised broadcasts.
