Lake Wilmore Community Center

City of Auburn

Designed to fit into the existing terrain of the City of Auburn’s Lake Wilmore Park as minimally invasive as possible, the Lake Wilmore Community Center will provide much-needed recreational space for the City’s residents. The Community Center will include administration areas, two full-size basketball courts with an elevated walking track, locker rooms, fitness and aerobics rooms, community activity rooms, six outdoor pickleball courts, and a 5,500 SF outdoor recreational pool with support areas. Along with saving as many trees and natural topography as possible, close attention was paid to materials and color palettes so the building would blend into the natural surroundings.
