Interior Design Professional

Katie joined Davis in 2022 after earning her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Auburn University. She is a member of both IIDA and AIDC. What drew her to interior design was the idea of creating spaces that are both enjoyable and functional, environments that people can genuinely connect with and use in meaningful ways. What Katie finds the most exciting is watching individual materials and finishes come together into a finished space and seeing how each detail contributes to the overall look, feel, and function of a room. At Davis, she values the camaraderie among her coworkers and the collaborative spirit that goes into every project. Based in Mobile, AL, Katie enjoys watercolor painting, reading, and serving at her church.

Saban Center Tops Out in Tuscaloosa | Business Alabama

Construction on the Saban Center, a STEM and arts campus in Tuscaloosa, has set its final steel beam, marking a milestone in the development. The marble-clad complex was designed by Steinberg Hart with Birmingham-based Davis Architects and in close collaboration with Nick and Terry Saban. The general contractor is Stone Building Co. The campus is set to open in 2027.
