Katie Carnes
Junior Designer
Katie joined Davis in 2022 after earning her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Auburn University. She is a member of both IIDA and AIDC. What drew her to interior design was the idea of creating spaces that are both enjoyable and functional, environments that people can genuinely connect with and use in meaningful ways. The part she finds most exciting is watching individual materials and finishes come together into a finished space, seeing how each detail contributes to the overall look, feel, and function of a room. At Davis, she values the camaraderie among her coworkers and the collaborative spirit that goes into every project. Based in Mobile, AL, Katie enjoys watercolor painting, reading, and serving at her church.
