Project Architect

Jania joined Davis in 2023 after earning her Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University in 2019. Her interest in the field was solidified through the study of architectural philosophy, particularly the idea that good design can be nearly invisible, quietly shaping how people interact with, learn from, and connect to the spaces around them. She is a registered architect in Alabama and a proud member of NOMA. At Davis, Jania values having a genuine voice in the community and appreciates a workplace where she has never felt the need to be anyone other than herself. Construction administration holds a special excitement for her, a phase she considers never-ending architectural school. Outside of work, she enjoys quiet weekends at home with her children, often channeling her design instincts into whatever home project has her attention.

At Auburn University and beyond, a generation of Black women have carved out space in the architecture industry where less than half a percent of licensed U.S. architects share their identity. Despite the challenges of architecture school and the added pressure of representation, the women persevered in the pursuit of their chosen careers.
