With more than 35 years of experience as a licensed architect, Gary joined the Davis team in 2024. A graduate of Auburn University, he holds AIA and NCARB credentials and is registered in seven states including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee.

Gary ran his own practice alongside his wife, Angela, who is a fellow architect, for over 25 years prior to coming to Davis. Gary’s experience is widespread across multiple project types, including food service, office renovations, space planning and tenant fit-outs, and design-build industrial projects. His career has been built around working closely with owners: understanding their vision, guiding them through the design and construction process, and delivering completed projects that people genuinely enjoy occupying. He values the mix of talent at Davis and the shared commitment to doing right by the client. Outside of work, Gary participates in High Performance Driver Education events at road courses including Barber Motorsports Park, Road Atlanta, and Talladega Grand Prix, and is always happy to bring someone along for a few laps.
