Calera Public Library

City of Calera

This project involved the construction of a new 14,000 sf public library and community conference center complex for the City of Calera. The site is located on Alabama State Road 25 approximately one mile west of downtown at Calera Oliver Park. Library programmatic elements included adult and children’s areas with storytelling and computer areas. The conference center, although incorporated totally in the building layout, can be operated independently from the library. Included in the center is a large, multipurpose meeting room with a kitchen.
