Outdoor Training Pool

Auburn University’s new Outdoor Training Pool has been tailored to meet the needs of one of the most successful swimming programs in the world – one that perennially brings home not only SEC and NCAA trophies, but also Olympic gold, silver and bronze medals. The new 50- x 25-meter pool ranges in depth from four-and-a-half to six-and-a-half feet, and includes 10 long-course lanes with a minimal buffer lane next to each wall, plus 21 cross-pool lanes. Anchors for 10 starting blocks are provided at both ends of the long-course lanes and at the 10 deep cross-pool lanes. Tile wall targets and floor lane markers meet both NCAA and USA Swimming regulations.
