Based on the building’s traditional Georgian façade, one might not guess that the second phase of the University of Alabama’s new Science & Engineering Complex is a state of the art teaching and research laboratory facility supporting the chemistry, biology, and engineering curricula. At 207,000 sf, the building serves freshman and gradulate students alike.
